Scholarship Categories

Three pathways. One commitment to your success.

Academic Scholarships

Merit-based awards for students with outstanding academic records and entrance exam results.

Tulong Dunong (CHED TDP)

A CHED government-funded grant-in-aid for qualified Filipino college students, covering tuition and daily allowances. Available to students in SUCs, LUCs, or CHED-recognized private institutions.

UniFAST (TES)

The UniFAST Tertiary Education Subsidy under RA 10931 provides ₱20,000–₱27,000+ annually for tuition, books, and living expenses. Applications for AY 2025–2026 are processed directly through the school portal.

PESFA

Private Education Student Financial Assistance for technical-vocational (TVET) courses — free tuition and training allowances for students with annual family income of ₱300,000 or less.

City Educational Aid

Educational assistance from the local government for qualified Masbate residents pursuing higher education at Masbate Colleges.

In-House Scholarship

Be one of the Masbate Colleges Dramatic Guild, Music Circle, or Silayan Dance Company and earn an in-house scholarship while representing the college in the arts.

Eligibility

General Requirements

  • Filipino citizen, currently enrolled or admitted to Masbate Colleges
  • Minimum general weighted average (GWA) of 85% (academic track)
  • Good moral character certified by previous school
  • No failing grades in the previous semester
  • Active participation in school or community activities
Documents

What to Submit

  • Accomplished scholarship application form
  • Certified true copy of grades / Form 137
  • Certificate of good moral character
  • Two (2) recent 2x2 ID pictures
  • Birth certificate (PSA copy)
  • Income tax return or certificate of indigency (need-based only)
